That is why we have an Integrated Management System that allows us to offer a controlled and certified quality level under the ISO14001 Environmental Management standard, aware of our involvement in caring for our environment.
As manufacturers and importers of medical devices and products, we collaborate with Recyclia regarding the recycling of Packaging and Batteries/accumulators, and as such we are registered in the Collective System of Extended Producer Responsibility for the management of waste batteries and accumulators managed by the Ecopilas foundation.
In addition, we have a General Recycling Plan, which allows us to recover 100% of the plastic and batteries/accumulators from the devices we commercialize, once they are discarded. This plan includes redesigning our packaging to use the minimum possible cardboard, as well as recycled and sustainable packaging. Likewise, the plan covers physical facilities (offices) regarding waste and recycling (batteries, toner, paper...).
We have a collection agreement for recycling toner (with HP) from the organization's only printer, having a "zero print" policy (except in legally essential cases).
All system infrastructure that supports homedoctor services, as well as the physical facilities (offices) themselves, are powered by 100% clean energy certified ZERO emissions.
Furthermore, the use of homedoctor services avoids unnecessary travel, thanks to video consultations and telemedicine, saving atmospheric emissions.
We make responsible use of water, paper, and resources that affect the environment :)
The use of Prescriptions and Reports in digital format avoids the use of paper and printing.
As mentioned earlier, we have a "zero print" policy (except in legally essential cases).
homedoctor includes environmental training and awareness in its employees' Training Plans.
As an awareness action, we have created an urban garden on the terrace of our offices, with tomatoes, lettuces... and... more plants that we invite you to recognize :), as well as two wonderful and impressive Orchids that our colleague Paul cares for with great love.
