The objective of this document is to define a clear and concise environmental policy that promotes long-term sustainability and helps protect the environment for present and future generations, reducing or offsetting greenhouse gas emissions, facilitating efficient water and waste management, promoting actions for better energy efficiency, and raising awareness and training employees to increase environmental consciousness and staff capacity in sustainable practices.
This Policy shall apply to all personnel who, on a permanent or temporary basis, provide their services to the entity as an employee or external worker.
The Management of HOMEDOCTOR and the signatory parties of this Policy commit to promoting and carrying out the measures included in this Policy, which will apply to all staff of the entity. However, their implementation must adapt to the needs of the different areas of the entity, without negatively impacting productivity, quality levels, or customer and patient care, all while maintaining due respect for work-life balance.
This Policy has been approved by the Management of the entity. The personnel of the entity assume the described obligations, committing to comply with the provisions in the following sections. Any subsequent modification will come into effect immediately after its publication by the entity. Previous versions that may have been distributed constitute drafts that were temporarily developed, and therefore their validity is nullified by the latest version of this regulation.

The Policy will be tacitly renewed annually, unless there are circumstances that advise its modification, such as legislative or jurisprudential developments, environmental changes, operational needs, etc., in which case the approval of the entity's Management will be necessary.
The organization commits to setting clear goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, such as CO2, CH4, and N2O, through the implementation of energy efficiency measures, the use of renewable energies, and the optimization of manufacturing processes, as well as efficient management with third parties, such as cloud computing platforms.
The organization commits to setting objectives to reduce water consumption and minimize the impact of company operations on local water resources. This may include implementing water recycling systems, optimizing production processes, and raising staff awareness about water conservation.
The organization commits to setting goals to reduce waste generation and increase recycling and reuse. This involves implementing source reduction practices, establishing segregation and recycling programs, and collaborating with suppliers who promote sustainability in their processes.
The organization commits to setting objectives to improve energy efficiency in the company's facilities. This may include installing energy-efficient equipment, optimizing lighting, heating, and cooling systems, and raising staff awareness of sustainable energy practices.
The organization commits to setting goals to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations for the company. This involves ensuring that all relevant environmental aspects are properly controlled and complying with local, national, and international laws and regulations related to the environment.
The organization commits to setting objectives to increase environmental awareness and staff training in sustainable practices. This may include environmental management training programs, promoting active employee participation in ecological initiatives, and recognizing individual and collective achievements in sustainability.
Specific objectives related to the aforementioned commitments, which are measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART), have been defined as part of the Global Integrated Management System (GIMS), maintaining updated records and regularly monitoring progress to demonstrate continuous commitment to environmental management.

As part of the annual objectives, training will always be considered, including it in the Training Plan with courses, content, and/or activities that promote sustainability.
Internal regulatory compliance audits, referring to ISO14001, will be carried out annually to address and investigate compliance issues.
The Regulatory Compliance Committee will annually determine the scope of the review and execute the supervision plan. Supervision will involve conducting tests and gathering evidence of the effective functioning of the controls defined to prevent, detect, or mitigate compliance risks, based on the definition established by the owner of each control.
Once the audit is completed, the Regulatory Compliance Committee will present the compliance report to the Management, under the premise of continuous improvement of the Environmental management system.
Alternatively, external professionals may be hired (e.g., a reputable auditing firm that also conducts environmental audits).
